I'm not ashamed to say...that I love this show. :cool:


The engineering, imagination and multitude of skills needed, to build a bot that can mete out and also withstand the severe punishment...is actually quite amazing.


It's also great to see a lot of young females...who have embraced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). :thumbup:


And yes, the over-hype of the announcers is sometimes annoying...but it's a small price to pay to watch it.

I find amazing are those guys who fly high speed drones in and out and up and down through dimly lit abandoned malls and warehouses wearing those VR glasses. They move at such a high rate and must almost turn on a dime. I was watching some sports show last weekend and they're several young people making over $100K a year playing video games on teams with huge crowds and televised on the internet. There's now a whole another world out there and I used to think taking my slot car to the track was cool.

Yep, I've seen those drone races also...and they're pretty amazing!

But don't ever forget...slot cars ARE cool! :cool:
