I have noticed recently that I am seeing ads that are over 100 days old (the first posted says 100+ days), these are interspersed with ads that were recently posted (in the last few hours or days).
This makes the classifieds almost useless, as recent ads are appearing several pages down in ads that appear to be very old.
Can you please look into this, thank you, VT.

Probably because the first ones you see are "Featured" (paid) classified ads.

No if you go past the featured, usually 1 to 3 pages, you get to the "recently" listed, and this is where I see ads with very old dates mixed in with the new ads. My concern is that new items may be way down and never seen.

Near the top of the classifieds page look for
"Sort Listings" then go to "Latest First"

It will intersperse the featured listings with all others in order of how long ago they were posted. Works for me anyway, although it's possible that option doesn't stick.
