On my first trip ever to Florida, to a conference in Orlando, I woke up one January morning to a dusting of snow….light covering on the grass.

Not what I signed up for!

By noon, however, it was in the 70’s.

Gotta’ love it

South. If I would see snow one time here in TV I would have to say.....we are STILL not far enough South!!!!!!!!!!

We finally had to turn on the heat this morning. How bad is that?

I can't believe a little cooler weather makes one forget about the REALLY COLD and Blizzard weather our relatives are experiencing up North. As long as I can play golf... life is good...

I just came in from shoveling snow out of my driveway in Maine with the wind blowing 30/40 MPH and the temperature about 15. I'd much rather be at our home in TV so we'll take what your getting any day of the week.

I've said for some time that when it gets time for me to move south, I'll load my snowblower into the back of my pickup and start driving south. When someone asks me what that machine is used for, I'll know I've reached my destination.

It was 9 degrees this morning...and never got over 11 degrees...with 25 mph winds...and a srorm expected this weekend! (upstate NY) ...and a windchill of -20 predicted for tomorrow.
I spoke with a friend today in Zephyrhills, Fl. He was wearing a light jacket and complaining about it! We'll be in TV Jan 8th for a couple of weeks. Having someplace like TV to look forward to makes it almost bearable.

Let's hope there's not a repeat of that this year, although it sure does feel like snow!!

(grumble grumble) It may feel like snow there, but here in Sybericuse we have the real thing. Heard that Fulton just to the north of us got 42 inches. We didn't get that much but in my yard we have at least 36" -- and it is still snowing! So be happy folks.

And more snow. Maybe our renters will let me use the guest room. It is way too early to be bothered by the snow.

I am already so sick of this cold. I take that back a little, it's not the cold so much as the wind AND, the length of time all of this cold stuff is lasting. Common Canada, take it back, we don't want it in The Villages! My walks in the mornings are a bit too brisk!

My brother-in-law has a house in Fulton. He said he is going to sell...can't take the snow!!! I'm happy to be in the Villages.

You will be wishing for 34 tomorrow AM ;). All I can say is thank goodness good friends or family did not visit this week. It never fails, no matter how nice a stretch we are in, they will pick a few days like this.

My Daughter lives in Fulton,NY also. Got home there last night from visiting us in TV had 3 1/2 feet on the groundwith more expected this week. Said he has to go out today to clear off the back roof, to much weight. You can keep it. Yeh it's cold but we don't shovel cold in the winter or heat in the summer.Amen for TV's good life!!
