This is off of a Facebook page of the Uncle of one of the victims of the Parkland shooting on Valentine's Day.

I have edited the names out. The shooter's name remains as to not confuse things. If you figure out which victim this, please keep it to yourself.

As for what happened at MSD, *** was killed in a school hallway on the third floor full of kids reacting to a fire drill. They had no idea that there was a shooter. The people on the third floor couldn't hear the gun fire from the first floor, and he didn't fire on the second floor, because the teachers locked down their classrooms and got the kids to a safe place. The hallway on the third floor became pure chaos. Smoke from the AR15 set off the initial fire alarms, they couldn't see, they couldn't hear as the AR-15 produces a sound pressure levels way over 100dB at close range. The shooter wore a gas mask and tactical armor and was the only person who knew exactly what was going on. I surely wouldn't a teacher or another school employee with minimal firearms training to try to outgun this kid. Imagine a shoot out in those conditions? It would have been much worse. The teachers are in the business of teaching. The only people who should cary guns on a school campus are police officers. I'm all for more of them. People think that they can be a hero in these situation but more often are just another victim. Also a gun in a classroom produces a million variables. What happens when the teacher is killed, who gets the gun, or what happens when a bad seed kid overpowers the teacher and takes the gun. What happens when the police enter an active shooter situation and mistake the teacher for the shooter. Or the teachers, through the chaos shoot at each other. In my mind as well as the teachers union's minds arming teachers is insane. If you want to fight back, help us pass sensible gun legislation where Nick Cruze can't but an AR15 at 19 years old, and can't have 30 round clips. **** was the 17th person killed that day before his magazine ran out. The bullets that killed her came through another victim first. Only an AR15 or a gun with that kind of killing power does this. The other eleven kids were killed on the first floor. The shooter barged in a class room with no warning and killed kids and school staff before they even know what was happening. The entire killing spree lasted six minutes and twenty seconds. No one in that school could have stopped it. If you want to make a difference, Help us pass universal back ground checks for every gun sold. Help us pass legislation that arms the schools with proper guidance counseling and trains the school staff to identify kids going down a bad path and help them. Help us make health care, including mental health care available to every one. Help us make schools safe by placing more officers, better surveillance equipment, better locks, bullet proof windows, and fencing. Help law enforcement by passing laws that give them to the power to pro-actively disarm people who pose a threat to society. I agree that there is evil in this world, but there is also a lot of good. The outpouring of love and support **** and ***** have received is astronomical. Let's all work to stop an all out war, I have no desire to live in the Wild West.

This seems worth a look by more people than can see it on Facebook.
