View Full Version : Belle Glade disappoints again!!

They advertised Ribs & Chicken all day today so I invite my friends to join me for dinner there so after waiting 45 minutes for a table they announce that they are out of the special. The special was the reason why we chose to go there in the first place.
Very embarrassing for me!!!

Be happy they finally admitted they were out of it. We ordered at around 5:30. We got only 1/2 portion of corn (I saw others got a whole ear and it was very good) undercooked chicken, really fatty ribs and a meager portion of pulled pork. The beans were from a can. Totally awful. I’m not the world’s best cook, but what I fix at home is many times better than what we got for $60. The corn and bread were the best things on the plate. Sad.

It's hard for a restaurant to plan for having a special. Give them a break they were really crowded.

Not unusual for a restaurant to run out of an advertised special.

why anyone would wait 45 minutes for any restaurant in the villages , is unbelievable--most of them are not worth waiting more than 5 minutes

We had the special at Bonifay. Delicious and no wait.

We had the special last night at Belle Glade. 6 PM seated outside all was fine. Table of 6 everyone got the special they wanted.

There are Restaurants in The Villages who take reservations.
Call and ask.

I golf three times a week. There are plenty of tee times this time of year. Give it another month and you’ll be able to walk on courses during the middle of the day.

Guess I was lucky. Golfed then had the special for lunch with no wait for a table. It was yummy. Sorry for those who missed out.
