It is kitten season here in Sumter County and we are receiving them directly here at The Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County. If you feel that you can foster a few kittens, pregnant moms about to give birth and mom that are nursing and help with getting them socialized so they can be adopted please call us 352-793-9117. HS/SPCA will give you food, take care of medical needs and more. Or you can go to our website at hsspca.org and complete the foster application at Adopt Pet | Central Fl | Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County,FL (https://www.hsspca.org/foster-appl) and review the information on fostering at Adopt Pet | Central Fl | Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County,FL (https://www.hsspca.org/fostering). Thank you!

To me, fostering a dog or cat is fun. Fostering kittens is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. It is a short term commitment. Kittens get adopted quickly. I wish I could but I recently adopted a pup and my cat is still mad at me 😳

I couldn't do it. If I fostered them I would NEVER give them up.
