Went to my local mail box location--A gentleman was hobbling along using a cane, his arm was in a sling, by his demeanor his physical abilities were severely diminished.,
I stated Sir, you should not be driving-his retort to me was " thank you for your kindness" his wife who appeared to be in much better shape was carrying their dog

I said- if something goes wrong - you can't react & drove away--his Dr. is at fault for not pulling his license via a note to the DMV

Perhaps his wife was driving? Didn't we have a discussion before about people too old to get in and out of sports cars?

I do not think doctors need to write to DMV to pull licenses for post-op surgical procedures or if the person is prescribed a sling. I am not sure the law against driving with a sling. It may be under impaired driving as unable to safely operate, but I am not sure how you can ticket someone for that if they are not driving erratically or caused an accident. It certainly isn't his doctor's fault he made a decision to drive and who knows how long he has had that sling or why in the world he was wearing it.

He was driving, his wife was carrying the dog into the passenger seat !!!!really bad !! Forget the law--the law can't protect you , when a driver who should be able to make an evasive maneuver can't because of a physical impairment--this is way too prevalent in TV -in my opinion- the driver has either Parkinsons or a stroke

Thank God he didn't have a Corvette. AND it could be even worse. He could have been drinking some very expensive Vodka.

Total lack of common sense (or caring).

Same thing if a couple goes out and he drinks and
she doesn’t, WHY is SHE not driving?

Now you're doctor able to diagnose on th spot!

Mmmm, vehicles now days have power steering. It's not 53 Chevy or 50s dump truck where you need both hands to get it turn. Did you follow him and see if he was driving out of control? I didn't think so, you just assumed right.

Such a choice. Alex I’ll take Booze for $600.
