I heard at the Gourmet Club tonight that Bogies in Spruce Creek South suddenly closed. Any Spruce Creek residents know why?

Are you sure they are closed? Thought I saw an ad in the Daily Sun for Bogies today. Or maybe they just reopened????

Those ads are pre-paid. You'll probably see more for a while yet. Called their number and no answer.

According to a Spruce Creek resident, Bogies closed a couple of days before the holiday and is still closed -- rumor is $$$ problems -- FYI

Another ad in the Daily Sun today for Bogies so I again checked The Villages Gourmet Club web site and it now says that Bogies is now open after resolving some financial problems.

Amazing, the Gourmet Club is a better source of information than the Daily Sun.

And yes, I called and they are reopened but wouldn't say why they closed. Tight lipped!

Talked to Norman Lee at the Chili cookoff to ask when he'd be at Bogies again and he said they were closed. No reason. That was Feb 6.

Oh yeah, they be closed for good. Something may open in the near future there.

Wow.......they are featured in this months Lake Magazine......I'll add them to the list of places we have not gotten to yet, and now will not.....

:doh:They're closed....they're reopened after repairing financial problems. I am really confused. Guess best recourse is to phone and see what answers, if any, come forth.:icon_bored:

It will not be reopened by the Bogie man. :icon_wink: Seriously, it has been taken back by the owner. It was a leased operation.
