Does anyone know where to bring a stray cat? I don't think it will survive much longer outside on it's own. The animal shelter said not to bring it to them and I called a vet and they just referred me to the animal shelter. Would anybody like a cat???

The cat is white, the tip of it's tail is striped. This cat has been around since early December though. I think it is a feral cat.

Not my Bigsey. She is gray and black stiped and had a pink collar which may have come off. She is about 9 years old and has a very droopy belly. She is fixed. Lives on Day Lily Run in Duval, The Villages. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mrs. Bigglesworth, (Bigsey), please call Shelley at (954) 648-5319 or (352) 259-6744. Thanks everyone for your sincere help. I will keep logging in. This is my first time on this website. Thanking Scott for telling me about it. Still hoping for the return of Bigsey!! My chihuahua is very depressed and misses her and she was raised from 6 weeks old from Bigsey. So, the cat, was kind of her mother.

Shelly I'm so sorry about Bigsey being lost. My cat went out a window once and since we lived in a noisey area I waited until late at night when things quieted down and walked around calling her name. After a few nights I heard a faint meow and and found her in a shrub close to home.
Good luck...

I so agree with P. I keep looking to see if she has returned. We are keeping fingers and toes crossed here in Ohio.

Shelly,

Just read this and its a bit late to call. We ate at Havana last night and saw a tabby or tortie cat sprint past the window on the patio. This cat seemed young - looked small to me - but I only got a quick look and my cats are pretty big. No collar.

Good luck in finding your kitty..

Shelly, if you have a picture it would be helpful. In many of the villages there are feral cats and people get use to seeing them and pay little attention.

We saw the mom cat and her liter when we ate on the porch at Havana during the evening in the middle of Dec. We ended up giving them half our meals. They are living off the donations of the restaurant's patrons. Only hope someone doesn't get mad at them and complain to Havana's mgr. The kittens are really cute but they all appear to be feral cats that are starting to get used to humans.

Was the momma cat grey and black stripped? I wish, I hope, could it be...
