That is all we can do, feel so sad and reach out to others and hold hands . I am not a police officer and do not know what would have been the best thing to do, but I thought many times, this is not good, this is going on too long.

I agree. I don’t have the training needed to be qualified to second guess police/SWAT. I have a 12 year old grandson, and cannot imagine the grief the relatives of the children are going through.

This 18+ hr. standoff went on way too long. The Orlando Police Chief (John Mena) really laid a big, fat egg on this op by not calling for a breach of the apartment.

He announced his resignation the other day, effective in December, to run for Orange Co. Sheriff; this bad decision will be his defeat.

Very sad for these kids; this should not have happened.
