Apollo 13 I remember well, because we went on my birthday and I really enjoyed it. You're right about Tom Hanks except for one film, Bonfire of the Vanities is terrible. Otherwise you can't go wrong with Tom, the late Bill Paxton was also in Apollo 13 and he's usually good for creating some chaos when he yells. He was the disgruntled soldier in Aliens.

Went to the Kennedy Space Center a couple of months ago . First time in ages .. When you stare at the number of connectors in that capsule you just shake your head on how that thing got off the ground, much less went to the moon .. And to fix it with "rubber bands and paper clips with the time clock ticking" .. just amazing .. Think I'll watch the movie again as the visit is still fresh .. Thanks

You are right about Bonfire of the Vanities. Bill Paxton was great in Twister another movie I have to watch once a year or so.
