I'm thinking about it. I just had a 10 day bout with the regular flu because I was tooo stupid to get my regular flu shot a few months ago. Are they giving them out now readily to everyone? Where are you getting it from?

Call the pharmacy and they will schedule a time for you to come in.

Neither I nor my doctor feel the vaccination has been thoroughly tested, therefore no H1N1 shot for me. I did, however, have the regular flu shot back in November.

I have made a conscious decision not to get it. Understand that I am someone who avoids an aspirin if possible. I take zero pills and shots and go out of my way to continue that. I never get a regular flu shot, refuse most suggested medications, and try to live healthy. I will change diet, live style, and every thing else possible to avoid any drugs or medications or flu shots. I have taken some pain pills under extreme (broken bones) circumstances, and some medications for very short time periods when there were no other options. I read the side effects then refuse them. But that's just me, if you believe it will help you, get it.

We got our H1N1 vaccines a couple of weeks before Christmas. Feel much better having had it. We were with many family members over the holidays. Some were sick. We both came home healthy. (knock on wood) I understand next year it will be included in the seasonal flu vaccine.

Neither my husband nor I are getting it. But that is because we both had "flu-like symptoms" during the early summer when H1N1 was running rampant in Syracuse, so many cases that the health department stopped testing and just said "presume you have it." I can't say either of us were very sick, but the cough was horrible and went on forever. I can see where it could be pretty bad.
