Frankle is Tampa has been used by friends of mine for a shoulder replacement and they had good things to say about him. Other places to go are U of Florida/Shands (Mike Moser if you want another opinion, not sure if he does replacements but he does good repair work) in Gainesville and Mayo in Jacksonville.

I second Dr. Cook. He did a reverse replacement on mine after a very serious fall which completely shattered everything inside. He was awesome.

Had a full shoulder replacement a couple of years ago by Dr. Mitchell. Was golfing in 4 months (playing 18 holes on championship courses). I can tell you one very important thing. If you are not going to be diligent doing your therapy after your procedure, don't bother getting it done. The shoulder is the hardest replacement to get on your body because of the ROM (range of motion). I still do exercises to keep it mobile and pain-free. But it was worth it. Wouldn't hesitate at all should I need to get my other shoulder replaced.
