It appears that development is active again for the Beaumont property on 466A across from Pinellas Plaza. Plans have been submitted by the developer, Wholelife, so that mass grading can begin.
The plans are for the construction of 271 single-family homes, 124 single-family attached units (townhomes), as well as commercial parcels along 466A and 462.
It appears that a street will connect to an existing Trailwinds Village street - Spanish Harbor Dr - which is behind Lowe's. It looks like one entrance will be at the Pinellas Place traffic light.
No word as to whether it will be age-restricted. One new thing is that the homes will more-than-likely be sold, not leased as originally reported. Not sure about the townhomes.
It will not be golf cart accessible. HOWEVER, since a street legal cart can legally cross 466A, it seems possible that street legal carts could enter the Wholelife development by crossing at Pinellas Place and then drive to Trailwinds Village.
