We went to Publix this morning 8:30am. Wife likes store brand yogurt(Pineapple). None on shelf. Seeing our search, employee "Bob" came over and asked what we needed and he looked around , then suggested that they may have some in the back room. Off he went to look. Returned with nothing in hand , but he was very polite and apologetic .
My comments to Bob were that this was the very reason that we shopped at Publix exclusively. Great employee attitude. His answer to me, " This is my store, my job, and this is a great place to work" Why wouldn't I have a good attitude to our customers.

Never have had this kind of experience consistently in competitor stores. Always treated this way in any Publix .

This has been our experience. The service at Publix is such a welcome treat that we refuse to shop anywhere else just to save a few pennies.

I had a similar positive experience in Publix. The space where a BOGO item was shelved was empty. An employee working on the opposite side of the aisle noticed me craning my neck to see to the back of the space and asked if he could help. He went to the back room and came out with a smile on his face and the items. I noted his name and thanked him.

As I was leaving the store I saw the manager and told her how helpful and pleasant Alfredo was. She thanked me for letting her know and commented that employees get a free sub from the deli when customers let them know of an associate who has been particularly helpful. So...besides thanking your helper, give them a free sub (and Publix subs are GOOD!) by letting a manager know.

My Dad fell at one of the Publixes here in the Villages and an Assistant Manager helped patch him back up.

I often get nice greetings at most of the Publixes here in the Villages unless it is one that I just started going to.

I totally agree. Publix has the best customer service of virtually anywhere I shop. Employees literally stop what they’re doing to help you, even if it means them walking you to the opposite side of the store.

Publix customer service far exceeds anything I've ever experienced here up north. During my stays in TV, I've also noticed quite a difference between customer service at Publix versus other grocery stores in the TV area. Publix makes grocery shopping, which is not something I generally relish, a very pleasant experience.

The staff are brilliant, it's a lot of the customers who are a PIA. More so at Colony. All them 55-65YO youngsters!

A great company with EXCELLENT costumer service. Ironically, one of the few that are PRIVATELY /
EMPLOYEE owned.??????????

I've been shopping at Publix for over 30 years. The stores are well lit, overall clean, lots of BOGOs that I actually want, they have little "ethnic" sections that are nice, the store brand generic foods are usually decent quality, and the employees are nice and helpful. They will also try to bring something in if you request it. I am a fan!
