I need radiation after my prostate was removed. Has anyone had experience with RBOI or Dr Norman Anderson?
I heard him speak in January and he seems very knowledgeable.

I have also heard him speak. He is an excellent speaker. He told about how he can do things so much better than other doctors in his field. That he has developed protocols superior to those at the academic centers with better results and fewer side effects.
He advertises with full page newspaper ads monthly.
A Google scholar search using his name and the word radiation found zero hits for publications. One would think he would publish his data so other doctors and patients would benefit from his discoveries.
None of this means he is not an excellent doctor. But endless self promotion and claims of outcomes better than others are troubling to me. Your mileage may vary.

To me a speech is a red flag. I always feel like I am about to have someone try to sell me something.

There is another group here in TV where you will get a lot of information it is: Nextdoor: Sign in (https://nextdoor.com/news_feed/?action=view_news_feed&link_source_user_id=9381640&mobile_deeplink_data=eyJhY3Rpb24iOiAidmlld19uZXdzX 2ZlZWQifQ==)
I use my local group of neighbors to get information on almost anything I need. Between TOTV and Next Door you should get a lot more information.

IMO - which does not amount to much! - I don't think your post is very helpful. Have you had treatment at this clinic?, do you know anyone who has?, can you be more helpful other than to put him down because he speaks at the POA which you dislike so openly?

There are unspoken expectations for physicians of merit and you are well qualified to speak on them, being an excellent example of a physician of merit.. Thank you for your post.
