I took a few pictures of the new tunnel that has been built under CR-501 during my flyovers yesterday. An interesting and effective construction process.

Things are really happening fast. Do you know what the building is located just north of 468 very near to the turnpike. I just noticed it Saturday, has a roof but not shingled yet.

The 'Cut & cover' method for tunneling...has been effectively used for many years.

Cut and Cover (http://www.wsp.com/en-GL/services/cut-and-cover-tunnelling)

Some projects using this method...are pretty amazing.

The building on the SW corner of CR501 and CR468 near the Turnpike is a telecommunications building/hub for that area of the county.

It took some digging but I think I found the building you are referring to in the footage I shot yesterday. Is it the one circled in red in the first picture?

If so it looks to be a part of the softball field complex based on the location. Of course it could be something else based on the big blank spot in the second picture, I can't find anything yet on what is going in that location beyond being labeled Magnolia Plaza, a commercial area.

I'm not a part of the developer's inner circle so I have to rely on what I can dig up in public records.

I would think the bridges will be modular as well.

Thank you for that. It may well be part of the softball complex, I forgot what all they were building in that area, I think there is going to be an RC controlled boat racing pond also.

I believe the RC car area is the open/white square to the right of the ball fields in the second picture.
