Here's a short video shot yesterday of the work around the Brownwood area and The Villages Grow area. Not a lot of changes going on in the last few weeks. The biggest changes are in Atwood Villas, they have started building the homes there. Construction is proceeding slightly different than usual; normally in CYVs they start at the entry and move in a CW or CCW direction until complete, in Atwood they are starting at the very end and working towards the front. The end units they are starting with are water view sites at the opposite end from were the mail station is.

Another interesting video. My comments:
Atwood Villas - It's interesting that the villas follow the "new norm" of being perpendicular to the street, not on a diagonal.
The Lofts at Brownwood - It appears that they harvested the sod. I'm guessing it was used in the DeSoto or McClure areas.
It appears that Brownwood Blvd. off Powell Rd. (behind Grand Traverse Plaza) is open again. Is this true?
Your question: Some kind of park or nature area? - Nope, it will be more parking with an open space for a smaller building - see attachment.

Beautiful and amazing. Thank you. Wonder what Mr. Schwartz would think?
The circles—mysterious.

The circles—mysterious.
I'm sure he's wondering what took so long to move forward with his plans.
The circles are a product of the Continental Country Club waste water system I was informed today by a friend who lives at CCC, thanks Daniel K for the info.

Love the video. I just subscribed to your YouTube channel. Thank you for adding the information about the music and composer that accompany the video. :ho:
Construction workers should have plenty to do around TV for the next 3 or 4 (or more) years.

I think more like 20+ years at the current rate of about 2500 homes per year. The developer has a long term plan and vision for the Villages and we are seeing it unfold before our eyes.

It appears that Brownwood Blvd. off Powell Rd. (behind Grand Traverse Plaza) is open again. Is this true?I found the answer to my question in today's Daily Sun Construction Update. The answer is Yes:
"Brownwood Boulevard: (West of Powell Road) All construction has been completed, and Leland Lane has reopened. The boulevard west of Leland remains closed to the public."
