Are there any restaurants in The Villages that are quiet enough to have a good conversation?

Keke's is great for breakfast and lunch, but they don't serve dinner. If you haven't been there, you mostly sit in very high back booths. No suggestions for dinner though.

The non-bar side of Bonefish has been pretty empty most of the times I have been there in summertime.

Turners—quiet, peaceful, delicious.

Not really. Most have not figured that out yet. The only ones that are, is because no one goes there and it's empty. Usually because the food is so bad no one wants to go there.

Unfortunately, true. Most of the restaurants here seem to be set on "loud" every night, "loud" noise, "loud" music, "loud" people. Although, I have been to Katie Belles when it was quite civilized!!!! Have to pick your night when there is no entertainment or musical entertainment.

Go between lunch and dinner times when it is least crowded.

Turners in Leesburg is quiet and the quality is excellent. They take reservations for up to 4.

Bamboo Bistro has been quiet nearly every time we've been there, although we do go earlier than most.

We have been there inside, on a busy Saturday night during the high season, and I would have to disagree. Sitting outside on the patio is a different story. Generally much better, although I wouldn't call it really quiet. Acceptable noise level.

As others have said, Turners is great, Thai Ruby is quiet as well. I can't recommend any of the country clubs for quiet, unless you sit outside on a non-busy night.

Our 12 Country Clubs are all on the “noisy” side. Belle Glade and Evans Prairie might have a bit less noise by design. Outside the bubble we found Rose Plantation in Fruitland Park to be reasonably quiet. However, only there twice. Anywhere you go a large group having dinner together tends to be noisy. They try to out talk each other.....

Noisy restaurants are the norm in TV, especially the country club restaurants. The worst has to be Hacienda Hills. And have you ever tried to have a conversation at the Texas Roadhouse? It's the noisiest restaurant I have ever experienced. A truly bad dining experience, despite a very good steak. We enjoy eating at Bamboo Bistro, which has a nice ambience without a lot of noise. And believe it or not, Ruby Tuesday near the Spanish Springs town square is relatively quiet and the food and service are very good.

Demshar's is quiet. Been there a few times. Quieter than most. The only country clubs that have quiet spaces are the ones I could never afford to eat in. I'm fine with that.:beer3:

We were regulars at the Lighthouse for a couple of years, but finally the noise drove us out. It was not so much the diners as the people at the high tables around the bar. There was a sixsome of men used to get in there on a regular basis, they were loud, obnoxious and not careful what they did with either the hands or their language. No longer eat there.

The noisiest IMHO is Glenview CC, the noise is intense, near the bar--

I agree. Only been there once and I keep meaning to go back. My wife and I and our guests had an excellent meal there. My lamb chops were great. As an added bonus, whoever was tending bar that day, made me one of the best Maker's Mark Manhattans (up) that I've ever had. I think that Demshar's is underappreciated.

That quote nails Bourdain, Ecuadog.

Okay, carry on...

Have to agree. Probably the noisiest place in TV area.
Staff shout, customers shout, even the cockroaches in the kitchen shout. Bedlam!:sing::sing:

Guess I'm not as worldly as some of you. The only thing I liked was the desert menu,:icon_bored:
