I know that most of the oldies on here know about this site but I thought it was worth a mention to the new people just joining us. If you are looking for a home, a resale home south of 466 than you can type in the address and see what the original price was.
I just saw a new listing on The Villages site and saw that it was ten thousand more than they paid for it. Probably about the actual cost with added updates most people do such as landscaping and other upgrades.
When I type in any street address and do a search, it comes back "no records". What am I failing to do?

Try putting in just the street name without the Road or Rd., Street or St., Terrace or Terr, etc.
NOTE:
There are similar sites for Marion and Lake counties along with most, if not all the others in Florida. Just Google the county name and appraisals.

Gracie, what a nice idea to let newcomers know about this resource!
We asked our Buyer's Agent for this information on the house we ultimately purchased on the north side of TV. She kindly provided it, from the Marion County Property Appraiser's office. Here's where to do a similar seach there:

...and for those of us choosing to reside on the historic side in Lake county, you can check out http://www.lakecopropappr.com/ for property info.
