This is sort of a long story but Ill try to put it in a nutshell.(not easy for me) LOL!

Today I ran into a homeless woman. We started talking and she told me that she had a beautiful sweet little Jack Russell terrier and when she became homeless , she had to give the dog to her niece. Her niece does not care about this little girl and lets her roam the streets. The woman does not even know weather she is feeding the dog! She explained to me that the little dog is very sweet and calm and nothing like the bad rap that Jack Russell' get. She is 5 years old, adores children and great with other animals. She did show me a picture and the dog is indeed adorable.

This little girl has 6 toes on her back feet and has been named 6 toes by the homeless woman. She also told me that the dog has been spayed and has a chip. She begged me to find her a good home . Can you open your heart to this little sweetheart?

Please send me a P.M if interested and I will make the proper contacts so that you can see the dog. Of course 6 toes will be FREE to a good home.

Ohhhhh Nonie....I would love to help this poor little doggie, but I am at my two dog limit. I pray that someone can bring this little girl into their hearts, and a warm loving home. Bless you for helping this sweet lil doggie! :clap2:

nONIE,
I hope the little doggie knows that, in addition to six toes, she has an extra big heart behind her-- yours!

I too am at my two-pet limit, but do hope the little doggie finds a good home. I've asked some of my neighbors up here in Atlanta. Only other thing I could think of to do was ...BUMP.

Thanks Gracie, Im working on that now. Its not easy since the dog is roaming the streets and the owner has to find her somewhere in Umidilla. But I think I have this all worked out now and I will have a picture by this weekend.

Have you tried Russell Rescue? It is an organization that places unwanted JRTs.

Awww. She's got love written all over her face! Wish I could take her. She looks like a Jack B. Russell. (B for Beagle).

The dog looks great and if I didn`t already have 2 dogs I would take her, but what surprised me the most if that no one expressed any concern about the owner being homeless. I`m in Jersey and I don`t know what programs Florida has for their homeless residents.

gary,

The homeless woman has been taken in by someone but for some reason they could not take the dog, so she gave it to her niece.

I am thrilled to report that a very dear soul here on TOTV has made arrangements to have 6 toes taken care of until a good home can be found.

I am very confident that 6 toes will be in a loving home very soon.
