instant email notification

Is there something wrong with the email-notification setting? I used to get an email every time someone posted to a thread I follow. That doesn't seem to be happening anymore.

I also noticed that I was no longer getting email notifications when I was sent a PM. There was a reply that the admins were looking into this.
