New map of Fenney in the Daily Sun yesterday

The map shows all of the proposed roads south of Route 44, including the roads that will intersect Route 471 well south of Sumterville.

It also shows how Route 301 will be changed to bypass Coleman, which I think is a good idea. Maybe 'downtown' Coleman will be able to develop into a nice place to visit.

It looks to me like the designers are trying to guard against the traffic bottlenecks we now have in some areas of TV.

As they are developing Fenney, they have had to work around the existing houses in Adamsville, the quarry, and the prison. On Google maps, it looks like the large area southeast of Sumterville is mostly dry open land, and I bet that area is the real future of TV.

And, it shows a new car bridge crossing the Florida Turnpike east of the plaza.

look at the maps, may not be in our life but it will be. Brownwood is far from a ghost town, it was built in preparation of all the new development at least 3 new tenants this year and a lot happening in Paddock.

They are selling 6 or so homes a day down here, prior to 2017 they built zero homes south of 44, they know what they're doing. If I was younger I would open in Brownwood.

They built way ahead of all the new homes being built. Once it’s connected with the new southern Villages it will fill up.

GG is correct. I remember driving over the bridge to lake Sumter Landing in 2007, and our gps said we were in the lake.
You went to the sales office, got breakfast on the veranda that is now Panera’s, but most all of our activities were in Spanish Springs, since LSL was still in its early stages. All town squares take time, look at SS and the open storefront that will be taken over soon by new retail. Its always a work in progress

Get on the Turnpike at 301 and head south. As you drive, look to your right at the land mass being cleared all the way down to the Okahumpka Service Plaza. Brownwood will undoubtedly be the center of The Villages before too long.
