"Sorry to Bother You" movie

I know I'm not the only person to have seen this film. There were at least 10 people in the Barnstorm auditorium with me.

Will someone please explain what the heck it was about? I should've walked out. Worst movie I've seen in ages. I can't begin to imagine why TV movie bosses would book this thing. The term Avant Garde doesn't come close to defining it.

Also curious, one of the previews was for a live-action film featuring The Muppets that seemed like soft porn. The preview clips actually contained f-words. I've never seen a preview like that one.

Sorry to Bother You starts out OK, plausible. But as soon as it turned into science fiction I got lost. I expected that it was a bad dream or the result of a bad acid trip but it wasn't. So I can't explain it.

It gets great reviews from the critics but not so much the audience.
