I went to pick up my dogs medicine yesterday.
It went from $19 to $37.25!!
A 100% increase in 45 days!
We went on line and found it for 9 cents a pill.
Lesson learned

Just be careful to use a reputable site.

FDA urges consumers to use caution when buying pet medicine online (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news/fda-urges-consumers-to-use-caution-when-buying-pet-medicine-online-101217.html)

Bed very careful. The web sites have been caught selling expired medicine.

Not defending the vet's office but some prices on some medications do fluctuate.

Buffalo Ridge is good Vet Ctr but their Med prices are outrageous. Check out PetMeds.com for meds/prices. You will need a prescription and time to receive the order and you most likely will receive genarics...but their prices are farily good compared to BR....You are paying for the convience at BR

1-800-PET-MEDS is a good reliable online source.
They source and sell exactly the same meds and supplies as the veterinarians.
They require an Rx for prescription me3dication which is easily accomplished by supplying the vets name and number....it is done all the time.

We save substantially on our dog's heart medicine as well as heartworn, flea/tick tabs.

Same suppliers/same boxes/better pricing....they have the benefit of national volume purchasing.

Their after the sale follow up and service is 5 star.

90 pills/45 day supply. Had we known the price was going up so much we would have shopped around but of course we were down to the last day and at their mercy. The meds, unlike many, doesn’t have a human equivalent.
