I do not know if this is fact or not but I have received a number of e-mail hits that Fox News plans to run a very provocative program this Sunday at 9PM Eastern.

I may be wrong about this but there have been many emails that mentioned a Hannity tell all about Barack Obama and they have merely been hoaxes as the original broadcast took place before the last Presidential Election.

You are correct. It's old news and it didn't amount to a tinkers-dam. Just garbage - even the wackos (Beckerheads) didn't pick up on it the first time around.

is either fair or balanced.

Wrong. My post was about a TV show and I posted it correctly in the TV forum.

is either fair or balanced.Whatever it is or isn't, Fox's ratings are blowing the doors off all of their competitors. More Americans tune into the Fox News Channel than any other cable news network and number 2 isn't even close.

I just looked it up and the show is called,
'President Obama, In His Own Words'.

IMO their high ratings are due to their "unique" programming, and they are the only network in town for it.
People who want a different perspective have a choice and have the option of two other cable news networks. Not saying it's right or wrong - Choice is good.

So you're saying it's unpatriotic to criticize a news organization? That's funny.

I have learned a lot on this forum. It has been a huge help in making many decisions as a newbie to The Villages. And now I can add two words to my vocabulary, Beckerheads and teapartyites. Even though any thread about Fox News belongs in Political (MSNBC also) I'm glad that I tuned in.

Fox news, CNN, MSNBC news are TV programs. This is the TV forum. Now, AFTER the program airs and, if, the content of the program inspires political debate, then, I agree, that debate should be in the Political Forum. My original post had nothing to do with political debate/discussion. It asked a question about a TV program. Additionally, that is why there are administrators.... they relocate threads all the time.

You bashed Americans who watch Fox News and Americans who are Teaparty attenders.
You must be a follower of the party which bashes the messengers
who have messages they do not agree with.
I repeat bashing Americans is not nice it is unpatriotic.
Now how about you deal with the messages and quit your bashing of fellow human beings.
ps. What gives you the authority to tell me I cannot coin a new word.

Unfortunately I do believe that there are many, many people who wouldn't know a patriot if they tripped over one. Perhaps you could define Patriot for us. Your definition would be fine. We can all look up the dictionary version.

Perhaps you can explain how stating that Fox news is biased constitutes bashing the average American. Talk about twisted logic. I'm sure you'll figure something out to support this opinion.

I think he means that millions of people watch that network. Compared to MSNBC, it really is fair and balanced.

I really don't see much of a difference. I personally can't stomach Keith Olbermann or Sean Hannity. In their own way, they are both offensive.

The Fox News show airing Saturday and Sunday nights could possibly be a repeat of the Friday Glen Beck Show. It was about the evils of communism, etc. I didn't see the last 20 minutes of the show, so I don't know what the "message" was, other than the obvious. Some rare photos/films of Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia, etc.

I don't think it's a repeat of the Beck show which was about evil communist dictators.
This one says it's about Obama's first year in office. Has bits of his speeches, etc. Guess that's why 'In his Own Words' is in the title...
