Has anyone added a third bath (shower) and clothes closet to an existing home here? If so, roughly how much and any contractor recommendations please?

T&D is a good place to start.

Fortin Construction.
They are very good at transforming the wanted result into alternate design options.
They are not the low bidder. Their quality and workmanship are better than original construction.
Clean up every day....during the day and before they leave for the day.
Very good at separating and covering area to be worked creating least possible impact on living and life style.
Pierre Fortin/owner.
Be sure to get at least 3 bids and ask for references.

Why do two people need three baths? why not just remodel one for already to you're liking? IMO shower deal maker or breaker when I look at house. I would not buy house without modern shower, and no the nozzle hanging over the bath tube not shower worthy IMO:faint:

Well back to OPs question, instead of what are you thinking.
I get adding the extra closet space, we are looking at expanding our cart garage to a 3 car, so cost of our quote would not help you.
Most who add a 3 bath are with a pool quote so may just be easier to get quotes for what you need, then to hope for a helpful response here.
While T&D is on the higher side for our quote we would use them again. we have had emergency work done with them, and have been very happy with the office staff, and installation.
If you can increase your footprint for whatever you are doing, go as big as you are allowed.

You are right as usual. More space added is cheaper then. They have earned their reputation as an excellent business.

I miss not having a front hall closet. Sometimes space can be reconfigured to have one, but just like a third bathroom or powder room it's best to start off with them.
I would guess that $15,000 would cover a fairly basic bathroom addition from scratch.
