I've seen a few mentions about Brownwood. Is that going go be another town square like Spanish Springs and Market Square? Where will it be located and when is it going to be built? Will it have similar type shopping/restaurants as the other 2 town squares? TIA

Yes the third and probably last town square. To be built on far south end of TV and will have a western theme.

Below is a link to a thread that will give you some information on the location of the Brownwood area.
I drive down that way a couple of times a month. They are still pushing alot of dirt and have several golfcart tunnels complete. It sure looks like they could open up Buena Vista Blvd to SR 44 today if they wanted to but must have a reason not to.
The construction of the new Sumter County Goverment building and Library at the corner of CR139 and 466A is going fast. The Daily Sun reported that the Goverment Center will be golf cart acessable.
There is also a four lane road that shoots off of CR139 by the Wildwood Senior Citizens Center off of CR139 and connects to CR44A at the West end of what will be Brownwood. A golf cart tunnel is now complete at this point as well.
It looks like they are making CR44A four lanes on the North side of Brownwood.

We took a LONG walk all the way down Buena Vista yesterday (South of 466-A). Buena Vista is now completed all the way down to 44. The round-abouts are completed, road signs are up, and the golf cart path is also completed all the way down. It looks very nice. The expanse of land down there is amazing.

Anyone have any idea when Buena Vista will be open to auto traffic to 44? Looks like a good shortcut to the Turnpike.
Never mind... thought 468 hooked up to the Turnpike.

I would be surprised if Buena Vista was ever opened until consturction of Brownwood is complete. They probably do not want all that traffic dumped near a construction site. Maybe....maybe not.
I do agree it still would be a better route to the TP.

The route to the turnpike will not be off Buena vista........It is going to be off MORSE..........State Plans are already approved for The Villages Cloverleaf of which TV will build the connecting road.........

Yes, you are right about off Morse. I was thinking in the mean time, probably years, before the cloverleaf is built.

Y'all seem to be very knowledgeable and up-to-date re: Brownwood. Anyone have any insight on the golf courses, both championship and executive, proposed for the area, i.e. names, locations, completion dates/opening schedules.
Thanks.

I thought for a moment you had posted and realize you haven't posted for a long time. I miss your posts.

Road up BuennaVista from Rt44 today. Infrastructer work is well underway at Brownwood. Looks like most of the equiptment from Moorse & 466 moved to the Brownwood site.
