For those interested in the area here is a flyover of the Village of DeSoto and the Village of McClure taken last weekend. Construction is the area is going at a dizzying pace.
The video is a little shorter than previous flyover due to problems caused by the high winds, flying at high speed, and flying sideways giving the camera gimbals fits. On top of it all in the middle of my editing my computer suffered a major crash which required a new motherboard and complete reinstall of Windows and all the applications which delayed the final edit until today.
Enjoy

It's amazing how fast these are going up. The 40 acres on 501 is a concern, I heard that it is zone commercial which could be good for some but bad for the adjoining lots so let's hope TV ends up with the parcel. Thanks again for the footage always enjoy seeing it.

It’s amazing what they can build, and seemingly build well, so quickly. Thank you for another great video trip around “the south”.

In the case of The Villages the rapid pace of building does NOT reflect being rushed, sloppy workmanship, or short cuts being taken, but rather being very practiced, well organized, and efficient at what they are doing after the many thousand of homes they've built.

Really nice job! Much better perspective of the area than just driving. Saw the house we are closing on Sept 10th in Fenney.
