airport transportation question

I played golf with a nice fellow (george)from Bridgeport the other day and he was telling me about a villager (a man and his two sons) who he uses to go back and forth to the airport in Orlando. He said that he charges $50 a couple and that he goes door to door etc.
I forgot to get his number at the end of the round and have no way in getting in touch with George so was wondering if anyone here had used this service or knew anything about it.

Sorry do not know who they are but Yellow Cab provides door to door transportation for $35.00 per person, one way. That's the same as the shuttle, but the shuttle is not door to door.

I have used Yellow Cab, going to the Orlando airport, and the service was great; and I believe I heard the driver say that they also go to the Sanford airport. They will also transport 24/7; with just an additional $10 charge after a certain time at night - I think after around 10 PM.

Hi, I took your advice and decided to try Yellow cab to pick up my daughter at OIA on sunday. They sounded very efficient and I like the fact that they bring her right to the door. Thanks for the info.

I used Yellow Cab on Monday, they picked me up at my house right on time, and had me at the Orlando airport in just under 1 hour. The service was great, and I told them that I found there number on line at Talk of the Villages, and told them that should adv. here.

Based upon the information in this Thread, MaryEllen tried Yellow Cab airport transfer to ORL on Tuesday, June 23. Excellent results: cost of $35 as advertised, pick-up on time at 5:30 AM, on-time arrival -- will use again. They also called the day before to confirm and the driver called on the way in the morning. Driver indiciated that their focus was TV and it was now rare to make stops anywhere else. Driver indiciated that comments in this blog about stops outside were the exception. Also, no charge for golf clubs.

There is a yellow cab shuttle that will pick you up at Orlando, Im frantically searching for their phone number. I also have the name of a couple Villagers who will pick you up and bring you to the Villages. Great guys at good prices.

If you use the Yellow Taxi Shuttle be forewarned that you need to add an hour and half to two hours to your check in time. We were late for our baggage check which caused us to lose our flight accomodations and wait 4.5 hours for the next flight. On top of that we had to pay $50 each to switch tickets to the new flight. Called them and complained and their response was that it was turned over to management for review. This was over a week ago and still have not heard back

1st passenger $35 ; 2nd..$25; 3rd and 4th $20. ALways on time and reliable.
They use a big van with plently of room.
