[QUOTE=setsertov;1574169]Looking for options besides T&D for lan
There are plenty of contractors, However.
The challenge is to get them to show on time, to finish on time. We have plenty of out of state experience with the Building Game. OK In writing, TYPE a Start date, A Finish date and work on the job 5 days a week unless raining. Have never seen so much of the jobs such as: A two week job taking 10 months? And, then having to come back, or will not come back for errors etc. Include a 5% penalty for late start, or late finish, a 5% Bonus for all done on time. WRITTEN CLEARLY, it is worth it to draw the line. We have seen abuses here that in some states, that contractor would lose their license immediately.

We used Windows of Central Florida. They did excellent work and started the job when they said they would. They completed the job on time. You are welcome to see their work. PM me.

Find out how many current projects he is juggling. After I signed I found he had 20 other jobs going on which prevented my job from being one of his priorities. He would use the excuse that he was too busy. As a result, my one month project took 4 months to complete.

Brian Terry Vinyl is fantastic. They have a long wait, but he'll start when he says he will, and finishes on time. Work is good, and price is better than anyone else I quoted.
Just a note on Windows of Central Florida. We had them install a 16' continuous sliding door in the rear of our villa. The door looks great, but when I got home after they installed the frame I see them using blue tapcon screws on a white frame - stood out like a sore thumb. I asked why they didn't use white and they said we can't get bulk in white. Really? So your answer is to use screws that don't match because it costs you a few more $$ when the door is $6,000? They ended up painting them, and they look good now. The other thing I need to mention is that when we sold that home and moved to a new one, we found out that they had never released the lien after we paid them... and then charged me $25 to get a signed document that I paid them. Even though it was only $25, it really irked me that I had to pay because they didn't take care of what they should have.
