I think it is terrible when you go to Buena Vista Dental for a cleaning and there is a problem and the dentist has to come in to check out the problem,that he charges you a fee for just looking on top of the cleaning fee. You are already in the office. Never had this happen living up north.

Which is why my dentist is 45 minutes away from the madness around here

Been with Lifetime Dental here for years. That has never happened. They are readonable and will recommend procedures needed but don’t push

I had quite the opposite experience at Lifetime. They pushed and pushed about deep cleaning. After telling 3 different people NO, they sent the finance lady in. She proceeded to patronizingly say, "It's ok if you can't afford it. We can set up financing".
This was AFTER the actual dentist tried to convince me that I had a phantom cavity that he couldn't point out on X ray. I walked out. That was 3 years ago, no other dentist has managed to find that phantom cavity. I don't patronize thieves.

Dentist and Dermatologist seem to have a hay day around here with unnecessary expenses for the patient.
