Hillsborough flooded

I was just driving west on Hillsborough past Manatee Rec. Center and the street was completely flooded. It almost looked like a water main break. The water was rushing like a river from south to north across Hillsborough. The water was gushing up from a hole in a yard - a lamp post was lying on the ground near the hole. I wonder if there was a water main break.

We live on Shale trail near. Manatee. Just noticed we have no water pressure. Lightening hit very close to us. Just found out from a Community Watch that ligtening hit a pole on Hillsborough near the manatee Rec Center. Water line broken. Water dept has been called. Probably no water tonight.

Same in Dunedin. Low water pressure.

Our water has been off for an hour or so.

We are north of Hillsborough about 2 blocks from the break.

I subscribe to Skip Smith's channel on YouTube. He lives in Hillsborough. He posted a video of the flooding on YouTube about 1 hour ago. If you go to YouTube, just type in the search box "Skip Smith The Villages."

Looks like a mess. I feel badly for the people on that street.

I think that I heard the toilet filling about 4am.

Appears all fixed now.

I live in Hillsborough. Water is back, around 4AM. Many cars on my quiet street. I think they are detouring people away from Hillsborough.
