I use an excellent Master Stylist named Nick Tsolakis. He does both men and women (I'm a man). He's located at "Salon St T" in Baylee Plaza on Hwy. 441 just north of The Villages in Summerfield. His number is 352-347-1606. Tell him Richard recommended him and he will take excellent care of both of you. Tell him what you have in mind and he'll be up front with you.

We are using Christina at New Dimensions in Colony Plaza. Both for cut and color. Very satisfied.

Urban Hair Studio has been a sponsor on Talk of The Villages for over a year. They get tons of business from our members, and they get rave reviews. I know these ladies personally and they are wonderful.

Thanks for all your replies - if you see a stunning blonde, it won't be me! but if you see someone with a good haircut, it might be.

I don't recommend Victoria at Victoria's Hair...she burned my neck with the hair dryer. I had to return to have her give me a better haircut; the previous hair cut but was BAD! She had a negative attitude about the haircut redo. Not going back...

Just to add to this thread, approx what is the going rate for a ladies haircut around TV? I get mine trimmed now every four weeks. Thank you, Linda

Has anyone used Tracie at Victoria's Hair?

After trying 4-5 hairdressers at different salons, I finally found a great hairdresser - Manny at Hair & Nail Creations on 301. Dimensions kept raising their prices and eight of us have left there because of that. Cut, color, and highlights for $95. He is great. I have also heard that Kelly at Cal's in SS in good, and she will be moving to the Cal's in Brownwood in September.

Was $40 for wash, cut and blow dry. Now $47.00 plus tip. Not worth it when it is a simple trim. Not going back.
