I have this HBO series taped but have not watched any of these just yet. I see that it one two Emmys last night.

Has anyone seen the First Season of this show? What is it like?

It's a very funny dark comedy about a hitman who wants to be an actor

I caught the first couple of episodes during a free HBO weekend. It is quite funny (to me, anyway) and it is very dark. It's probably not everybody's cup of tea but if I bothered getting HBO, I'd probably watch it. The only way you're going to know if it's worth watching for you is to actually watch an episode or two.

On Episode 7 of 8 from the first Season of Barry. It is quite entertaining. Kind of like Dexter meets My Name is Earl.

Cannot wait for Season 2. This was quite a well acted, written and filmed series.
