Hello,
Can anyone recommend a VISA processing service that is within driving distance? (We're just not very comfortable mailing our passports to an unknown entity.)

The office for Florida residents is in Houston. Any other expeditor will mail your passport to Houston. Hope your trip is not with Sinorama.

Some years ago I needed a visa for Russia. I UPSed my passport to the appropriate destination. UPS lost it so I got a new passport and FedExed it this time. It was returned to me with the visa. Two years later I got my old passport back, somewhat mauled, via UPS. There was no explanation.

I can understand why you are edgy.
