Had a landscaper kick up a stone that put a hole in a double pane window. Called warranty and they told me ROMAC installed my windows and doors. Called ROMAC and they new exactly the size replacement I needed. Start with Warranty would be my suggestion.:ho:

Probably warranty will take care of that.

Always call warranty first. BUT did someone try to break in?

In 2011 my handyman 'Tim the Toolman' accidently broke the stationary glass slider and he went to Romac and purchased a new one for $153. He covered all costs and labor because it was his fault.

Home is 7 years old, probably out of warranty.

No, that would be their worst mistake; have high def cameras inside and outside that will notify me of movement and I can be at the house real quick. Had the lanai finished last week, might have got nicked or dinged.

Several years ago, I had a patio door just shatter, and a couple of years ago, the same thing happened to my daughter's patio door.....think it's Florida heat, etc.

OP, call home home warranty anyway, they can give you the name of the original installer, and the original installer can give you an estimate for the repair. You can use this for comparison.
