Is this something we should do? If so...I saw an ad in one of the publications for LintFactors Cleaning. I did look on TOTV to see if there was any recommendations and none were found by me on any business that does this. If you've had it done would like to know business names as well as what it costs.

We and our whole neighborhood use covenant. The more houses involved, cheaper it is.
We are in The Chesterfield villas in Liberty Park. They will be here tomorrow and Tuesday, doing the vents if you want to talk to them.

Depends on where you’re vent exits? out the roof? Probably need to hire someone. Out side of house pretty easy providing you can pull you’re dryer out to get to the vent and connecting duct. Don’t forget the dryer it’s self. Lint can build up at the fan inlet. If you’re not very handy then it best to just pay for the service.

I cleaned mine last week and got enough lint out to loosely fill a half-gallon jug.

You must have vent that vents to the roof?
