Is there any Weight Watcher meetings?

Hello everyone,

I am going down in May for a month and with all those great resturants around --- I thought maybe I would try and take in a Weight Watcher meeting or two. We will be in the village of Amelia and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the closest meeting would be. I did a search first of this forum to see if anyone else had asked the question but could not find any answers. I would very much appreciate hearing from someone. Thank you.

Hey Layaway Queen,,,,, Hope you find a weight watchers meeting here but I just couldn't resist commenting on your :cold: icon, unfortunately, we are very :cold::cold: down here tooo... I hope it will warm up by May but right now, I am not sure it will... Maybe you should bring some heavy clothes... :cryin2: Good luck in finding your meeting.

I sure hope I won't need two of these:cold: We were there visiting someone for a day last April and it was nice so I do hope by May it will be warm. Funny, I was actually a little nervous that it would be too hot but it was the only time myself and hubbie and our friends could get away. Still I am making sure I take an extra sweater in the hopes I never have to wear it.

Right now we are having freezing rain, snow and I believe the temperature is 28..............

Thanks for writing me back. We will be in the village of Amelia. Do you know if the Allmanda Centre is far from that village? Just trying to get the lay of the land before I get there.

Layaway Queen, the Allamanda Rec Center is not far at all from Amelia. Its on St. Charles Place in Liberty Park (I believe) and you can get there by taking Bonita Blvd. go around the roundabout at Buena Vista and through the Liberty Park gate. Shouldn't take you but 10 min I guess. Here's the link for Allamanda Rec Center, I hope I do this correctly. Let us know when you get here... Kathie

There is a WW at La Grande shopping center in Spanish Springs, would probably be under Lady Lake (32159)

We are part time ourselves, but there is an Official Weight Watcher's sight in Spanish Springs Plaza. Just outside of Spanish springs. It is between the grocery store and Belks. They have the schedule of the meetings on the door. My wife and I have both gone there. She is a Lifetime member, I have a few more pounds to go. shighsmi. We will be there next two weeks. We live in Hadley right now only partime. We are what are known as Hummingbirds not yet snowbirds.
