November Meet and Greet

Would like to get the gang together before the Thanksgiving travels begin so am planning a Meet and Greet for Thursday, Nov 15 at 3:30 on the front porch of the Lake Sumter Landing sales office. The music begins at five Earthbeat so some may want to continue the evening with music, dinner, dancing, movie, whatever. Please bring a lawn chair if you have one as we really have to forage for seating sometimes. Hopefully the newbies will find this a good way to make acquaintances and start their social life in The Villages! Would love to see the oldies, too! :) Still looking for a younger volunteer to take over this activity!

Is there a meet the week of 25th?

no, our next activity will be attending the Christmas song show by Mark Steven Schmidt on Dec 8 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Allamanda Rec Center...please see my post about adding your name to our group reservation...we have ten people so far :) there is a ten dollar donation for the entertainer and snacks and coffee are provided...BYOB i lived in north dakota for several years and would always welcome a Dakotaboy! :) of course unofficially sometimes we get together for example Friday night Rocky and the Rollers are at Lake Sumter Square and Dec 1 is the Bohemian Bistro Cafe at Paradise Rec center which a few of us like to attend...but difficult for you to recognize us in those situations unless you let me know you are coming for sure and how to look for you. Welcome!

Where could we find the group tonight at Sumter Square?

i don't know if it will be a group :) but at least two or three of us will be there...always very crowded when Rocky and the Rollers are there, so bring a folding chair...i will park my chair somewhere on the sidewalk between the square and City Fire so if someone wants to look for us i will be there around six! will wear jeans and a green and while long striped tunic....hope you can find me! :)
