Need to know what should be done when closing a home for the summer.
setting for heat/air conditioning? Set the AC about 82, but I also use a humidostat set at 55%. That way the AC only comes on when you also have high humidity
gas furnace? AC only, heat should not be required again until October
gas water heater leave pilot on? I do, and leave it on low. But I come down once a month so I like to have the recovery faster.
gas dryer? Leave as is, ignition is usually electronic
refrigerator unplug? Depends on how long your gone
electric golf cart maintain on charger or disconnect batteries? I would have my home check person plug them in once a week and drive it around the block
settings for yard sprinklers? Once a week, early AM, 30 minutes a zone, unless zone is very big or very small which would require a little more or less time.
You really should have someone check the home weekly. And oversee all those items. To many things can go wrong that not checking will cause lots of issues. Water leaks, AC failure, bugs, etc.
