Recently did a Lifestyle Preview to get a better feeling of TV. Completely sold and are obsessed now with our future move! We met our salesperson - Jim McLaughlin on an earlier visit and contacted him again this time. If anyone out there is looking for an honest and patient agent, please contact Jim - he's the best!
Can't wait to join your community and always looking at TOTV for more useful information! You are all great and very helpful!;)

We think the world of Jim McLaughlin too. After a year and a half he sends birthday cards, holiday and anniversary too. He is the salt of the earth. If, no when, we buy again to live here full time, he will be our choice for sure.

I just used Debra Park, a Village agent, to sell our courtyard villa and buy a larger home. I recommend her wholeheartedly. I sold houses myself for twenty years so I'm pretty picky about what agent I use.
As most of you know, selling a home takes a lot of cleaning, patience and teeth grinding. Debra was great all the way through and kept me motivated and cheery!

Thanks to all for the replies. Everyone really makes the newbies feel so welcome. To Gracie...your posts are always insightful and delightful! I'm sure there are many great agents doing "The Villages" work. It was purely by chance that we got Jim,but we're happy we did!:clap2:

Thanks for the recommendation. We are not exactly thrilled with our Rep, so we may ask for Jim when we come down in August.

A big thumbs up to Audrey Sullivan as well. She has been great to work with and she understands my Avatar!

We had several before we bought and Justin Wilson was the best and still stays in contact. Try him.

My wife and I have dealt with John Stamper on our visits to TV and think very highly of him. Even though he knew we were still shopping, he gave us all the time we needed while he walked us through all the models and answered all our questions. He's always anxious to answer our calls and when not available calls us back immediately, always with absolutely no pressure! A really soft spoken gentlemen. Coming down at the end of March and hopefully will find our Village home, since we finally sold one of our houses. (Sell low, buy low?) Anyway, it will definitely be with John.

I also used John Stamper and can honestly say you can not meet a better person to work with. Honest, very helpful and will listen to your needs. I also found his name on Talk of The Villages. His mobile phone number is: 352-350-4099 Give him a call you will not be disapointed.

Anyone have any experience with Carol Kramer? She is organizing our 3rd LPV in May...

by the way, if you're "not thrilled" , well , we weren't either and just called TV and asked to change. they may ask you why and , well, we just said the chemistry wasn't there.

When we did our lifestyle visit last April, we had Julia Powell. She was less like a salesperson and more like a tour guide. She was great with no selling tactics or pressure after hearing what our plans and goals were. I'd recommend her also.
