My GP does not give Prolia shots. Who gives you your shot if you are on Prolia? We had to leave the Villages Health because they no longer take our insurance so that's not an option.
Thanks!

You could check with the orthopedic surgeons at Villages Health Specialties... you don't have to be a member of Villages Health to use them.
Welcome To Specialty Care Center - The Villages Health (https://thevillageshealth.com/care-centers/specialty-care-center)
Also check with UNOVA. Recently Claudia L. Thomas, M.D gave a talk about osteoporosis and talked about using Prolia at the talk. In fact she uses Prolia.

If you have the serum, some urgent care centers do give the shots.
My wife gets B-12 shots monthly and when we are away we use urgent are. Many do and some don't.

I had an awful time trying to get my Prolia when I first moved here. Don't let them tell you to get it as a prescription and take it somewhere for injection as most insurance won't cover it as a prescription. I get mine at Florida Cancer Specialists. They will need an order from the doctor who wants you to take it. You will also need a blood test shortly before the injection for your blood calcium count. They have friendly staff who can help guide you through getting set up with them. Note: Not just for cancer patients.

Our primary care physician referred us to Florida Cancer Specialists. Works out much better for insurance coverage.
