Once you say you are in, here is the deal.
Starting after your Thanksgiving meal and ending the day after Christmas, if you hear The Little Drummer Boy in any form including accidently humming it to yourself out loud, you are out and must announce it in this thread. Last one standing wins or ties.
Further explanation of the rules here (http://littledrummerboy.info/)
I'm in.

I will take a bite at it after reading the rules. My various friends who know I post on Talk of the Villages cannot mess me up by deliberately ambushing me by singing, humming, or whistling the Little Drummer Boy.
I have met quite a few people who post or lurk on Talk of the Villages. Lurk as in read posts but never post themselves.
I just listened to the Pentatonix version so I can recognize it if I hear it on TV, the radio, or in a movie.

before I join the contest, tell me if I understand....It's OK if I hear in running around in my head, as long as I don't hum or sing out loud? Now that I have heard about the game, I don't think I can keep it from playing inside my head!

Have avoided hearing this song for quite some time and hope that this contest is over? Or will be soon?

I never heard it. Not one single time. Not even on a radio station that played nothing but Christmas songs. Think companies are afraid to play non-secular songs? I was really disappointed because it is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

CBS Orlando had a bunch of Central Florida High School choirs singing or playing Christmas carols and fortunately they did not play "the Little Drummer Boy" that I heard. I missed a part of the first of two hours of these works.
