Cost $ per sq/ft quartz or granite kitchen counter top

Please advise the cost to be s expected per square foot for replacing an older laminate kitchen counter top with granite or quartz. This would the all in cost of removal of old counter and the new top material, cutting and installation. Much appreciated!

HandyGrandpap, different style kitchens may require significantly different amounts of labor to remove and install new counter tops. You might be better off to say; I have a ______ style house with laminate counter top and would like to get an idea of the cost to replace with quartz or granite, can you let me know which you used and the cost?
For example, I had 2 small counter tops custom made to match existing granite counter tops, the cost for these per square foot was much different from the existing counter top.
