Lap Swimming

I recently started lap swimming at a sports pool. There was no problem getting a lane during the summer. It seems like it's more difficult now that more people are here.

Are there any rules on the maximum time a lane can be taken when there are swimmers waiting? I only go to when the schedule shows combo swim or lap swim.

You can share the lane - just take one side.
