There have been a number of homes in the Hadley area [less than two years old] that have had their roofs replaced due to defective shingles. Look for looses stone particles in your gutters or at the bottom of the down spouts. Also heard of one major roof leak on a home on Ambrosia. Not sure if that is related to the defective shingles. These shingles were manufactured by Corning!

Can anyone tell me which of the roofing contractors has a good reputations and and is reliable?

The November issue of the POA bulletin has an article regarding the shingle issue. Previous months also have information. There are numbers to call, etc.
