Farther north, folks will put a solar powered fountain in the middle of a large pond to keep the water circulating and to give it a beautiful view...I have never seen one in TV....Are they not allowed? Anyone know?

good idea for the resident survey that's out. I enjoy fountains,

The fountains also help keep the water from becoming stagnate and foul I think.

They used to have a spraying fountain in the Saddlebrook and Hawkes Bay ponds. The pump equipment is still there but I have not seen the fountains in use in a couple of years.

They are still working. Some days they are turned off because of wind. Some days they forget to turn them on!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I guess I only go by them or play the courses when they are off.

During the summer if the wind was right, they provided a nice moisture on the holes they sprayed.
