We were disappointed to find the Siam Orchid closed at 5:30 this Friday night. It has been a favorite of ours since they opened and will be missed if they are closed. Does anyone know any information about the Siam Orchid?

Don't know why they closed...but I will miss them also. Was one of our favorite places.

Siam Orchid, 1561 Bella Cruz Dr., Spanish Plains Shopping Center, The Villages, FL. This well-liked and unique family-run establishment suddenly closed in early March, 2010

We never got a chance to try it out...

:ohdear: what a shame. It was one of our favorites as well. Lately tho' we did have some concern, as it didn't seem very busy.

We loved that place!! We always went at lunch time and it was busy with the workers in the area.

Sorry to see it go. I hope it ain't so!!

Siam Orchid was one of our favorites. We will miss them.

Only here as a renter for 4 months but have made it there twice already and told several people to try them out. The grouper with peanut/curry was great. Sorry to see them go.

Siam Orchid was one of our favorites. We would often go there when we were at that end of town. This really saddens me. Their food was very fresh and good. The changing of hands may have been in the works for whatever reason. I just wish I knew WHY?

DH and I had lunch for the first time at Siam Orchid a couple of weeks ago. We really enjoyed the dining experience and the food was great. I was concerned, however, that there were only a couple of diners at the time we were there. I asked the waiter how long they were open and he told me they were in that location for three years. I figured it was just a slow day.

Sorry they closed.

Our favorite too!

Will be missed along with Phil's Pizza and Paradise Rec Restaurant.
