Time for me to stop lurking and start posting! A special thanks to TV residents Campbellsoup and Villages99, whom I met over on the Cruise Critic website, for recommending this site to me a couple of months ago. It's been fun to read and a great source of info. My hubby (Keith) and I (Trudy), both 52. will be taking our third visit to TV on May 8-10. After visiting four other communities in FL, the question for us now is not "Where to Retire?" but "When?" I have a feeling, after this next visit we'll both look at each other and say "Why not now?" :highfive:

N'awlins, know what you mean. As the song says, "Just get here when you can".

Hi I just had to say hello. I am Trudy and there are not many of us out there. Are you a Gertrude using the nickname Trudy as I am or did your folks have the good sense to name you Trudy. We don't live in TV yet still in the Seattle area but hope to be there one day. :clap2:

Thanks...we agree! Our favorite saying by Robert Browning is "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be!"
